*laughs* Well, a year wasn't too long for my inspiration to hit, right? I wanted to create a "Spike Memorial" from the end of Buffy, but was too sad at the time. Then I got a life. Just kidding, I still have no life. BUT! School and work and everything got to me so much that instead of having "no time" I am now in debt of time. I OWE it! Ah well, I finally held a gun to my Muse's head and inspired her to inspire me, so boom! We have a brand-spankin' new layout. And I am not Angel. I have problems spanking men ^_-

Wasn't the ending of Buffy just so sad?! Spike got dusted! What is it about me having favourite characters!?! The curse of Redd: If I absolutely relate and/or claim a character as my favourite, they will buy it before it ends. In Buffy, Tara died and she was my fav. femme, and now... *sob* I thought for sure Spike would be okay because James has signed on for Angel... But no, Redd couldn't have gotten out so easily because he STILL HAD TO DIE!

Bitter, party of one, yeah. Anyways. To combat the waves of sadness over Spike, I've updated just a smidgen. I joined a cult. I mean a CLIQUE. It's for Buffy/Spike rememberance called "Too Much to Ask For" and it is such a beautiful site.

NEWS: I have begun a new layout and will be updating with LOT'S O' STORIES SOON! I've been gathering the masses and biding my time (much like Buffy herself) and haven't updated because of school and, yes, Buffy. I've got two days off work after tomorrow and have been...oh... let's just say "INSPIRED" to make a new layout. Now I'm going to cry myself to sleep and have nightmares of Spike turning to ash in front of my eyes. Sadness abounds...

New Affiliation - Welcome aboard Shaded Skies!!

Season 7 is shaping up to be really, really good. No other season has had me laughing one moment then crying the next (actually, scratch that -- Season 5 did that as well, and is still my fav. season). And it's all about Spike. To me it is, anyways. I was a Spike Redemptionist way before anything else, so his journey currently has me completely in a thrall. I still take my time off of school to make sure I'm watching on Tuesday nights, but other besides that, I have mega college classes to tackle, so I haven't been reading too much fanfiction. Thus, the lack of updates in the fic area. BUT! Never fear, I won't leave it hanging too long. Just give me some time to catch up and I'll be back on track along with new sections!! I have plans for this site, so don't give up hope. Just keep saying this as your mantra: "Redd will update soon... Redd will update soon..." who knows, maybe it'll give me a kick in the butt to get things done!

And just a small question: Is anyone else freaked out by my layout? I showed a preview of the layout to my bestest friend and current roomie and she said that it scared her. I think she was weirded out because of the hearts and pink and vampires... She said it was "Interesting" which translates losely into "My GOD man, what the bloody hell were you thinking???"

Hello all! Updated for your pleasure, I give you a sneak peak at Vampyr Dust... Ok, not really, so it's the actual website and not a sneak peak, work with me people. Anyway, since Blogger has been down for a month *grr snarl argh* I've decided to completely get away from them and just host my own updates on the actual site. I would first like to apologize to everyone trying to access my site, seeing changes, but not being able to read them through the Blog. Of course, if you don't want to even trouble yourself with reading a posting, you should just sign up with my ML! It's only sent out with update information, so it's not like your mailbox will be over run with e-mails from me. I would then like to bash Blogger and Blog*Spot for their really irritating network and how they haven't even tried to respond to my inquiries about what the hell was going on with the error reports. Anyone else who likes them, that's fine, but for me, this is a dead subject which I will not address further. Now onto the updates!

• Site Updates: I am pleased to announce I have a new Affiliate! Vampire's Kiss is a wonderful site and I highly recomend you visit (when you're done here, of course ^^). I also have joined a new fanlisting for the wonderful, beautiful, awesome, stellar, emotionally tearful, soulful episode "Beneath You" from Buffy's seventh season. If you haven't seen it...what am I saying, I think everyone has seen it! If not, go now! D/L it online if you have too! *cough* Anyways, Isabelle created a fan base for the episode called "Flesh" which you should go visit as well! And now to mention just the newest links: "Shadow Lust," and "Cassie Newton" have been added to the character sites database. "Stake Your Destiny," "The Chosen One and Her Friends," and "Morbid Much?" have been added to the Buffy series database.

Hello all!

Here's a post-Halloween pagan ritualistic update! Okay, so it's just a regular update, but work with me, people! It's been just a month in waiting, I was planning on updating October 1st, but school's been a sucker of my proverbial free-time and thus, with two papers pending completion, I have the happy job of writing good news! There are NEW STORIES at Vampyr Dust!

• Site Updates: Nothing so major as last time, but while going through various fanfic sites, I noticed some list the fics by title, some by author. So I decided to do both! You can now find a story on my site either by author or by the title of the story. Also, I have a new support banner for The FAKE BtVS movie script at Sunny-D Reloaded. It's Buffy meets the Matrix style, it's totally cool ^_^ Also, Vampyr Dust won SDR's Silver award!!! Yay! I'm so honoured... now if I could just figure out why the bloody banners won't show up at all! Grr....It's not like I haven't uploaded thousands of images before, but for some reason, these two just refuse to show up (I've been working on this all day). I'm about at the point of just going all green and "Hulk smash" on it...

Ok, now that I'm safely away from my sleepy roomie, here's a continuation of yesternight's update tirade:

New Award Winners: Two new awards posted, "Consuming Flame" and "Black Leather" (refering to the coat, NOT bondage! Work with me here, people). There's a winner for each new catagory. Nimue takes home the first "Consuming Flame" award for her story "The Peacemaker Prophesy" (which I notice now I updated the wrong title last night. The new stories by her are her collection called "The Peacemaker Chronicles," sorry for the confusion). What can I say... well, go to the awards section to see ^^; Also, Isabelle got the first "Black Leather" award for her series "100 Years of Solitude" which can be found on her site. It's just freakin' awesome, people. Check it out to see the perfect balance of the Man and the Monster.

Yes, I realize my awards section didn't upload right, but I'm using the campus comp labs right now so I don't have access to my files. I will correct the problem as soon as I finish with classes and get back to my apt. I hope everyone likes the new layout, it's really pretty on resolutions 800X600 and on 1026x760 (I believe, I can't check this resolution for the correct numbers because they locked students out. Guess they got annoyed with people leaving their signature backgrounds and settings on the compies ^^;;; No... I never did that... not at all...)

WoW! Lookie, a new scrumptious layout *drooooooools* Ok, this one will definately be staying up for a while, I'm absolutely in love with how this turned out. Think I sound vain? Sorry, really, but coming from someone who thinks all her work turns out really bad, I think I have a right to get a happy or two off of something that turned out very good :) Ok, yeah, just shoot me now... Well, Evil Willow didn't last for to long this time around. It wasn't her fault, it's just that I was getting really frustrated with how dark the red text was on the black background so I wanted a change. And since I went on an overload of B/S shipper stories one week when I went into seclusion (no joke there, it really happened), I decided to make this layout. The main point was to stress the passion B/S kisses give off. Did I accomplish this? ^_^ let me know. Now, onto the valid information of the updates:

Previously on Vampyr Dust, I was nominated to be in the L.E. Awards and hey! Lookie there, I actually got an award! So from Loving Enemies, I recieved "Best Fanfiction Site" for 2002 Round 3. YAYAYAY!!! *does the Snoopy dance*

Site Updates: 1) Most noticable, there's a new layout. Bet you didn't see that coming ^_^ The story's are also archived a bit more efficiantly, you can now select which chapters to go to through the selection list without having to chomp through each section to get to the updated parts!
2) New Awards were added as well as gave a few out! I now have two new awards ("Consuming Flame" for all those Buffy and Spike passion stories and "Black Leather" for those Spike-a-rific stories that show the perfect match of the Man and the Monster) as well as touched up the "Giles's Collection" award because it was the first award I made for the site and I always thought it looked bad. I'll re-mail the awards out soon to those who have previously won a "Giles's Collection" award so you'll have a brand spanking new shiny one ^_^ Aren't I just the coolest? Don't answer that...
3) I'm now nominated at the "To Die For" awards. Yes, I'm an award whore. I thought you knew this already!
4) New Links added, going both in and out. Also new Support pages added to Affiliates/Support.
5) New Challenges are up.

Updated Stories Include: Ginmar graces the updated list again with chapters 42 and 43 of "Affinity." Jennifer Campbell's story "Abandoned" has also been updated with the remaining chapters and is now completely here! Yay! The lovely Jericho TGF's story "Haunt of the House" now has a 13th chapter! Go and read NOW! ^^; My personal story "Near Dawn" has been re-vamped a bit with a spiffy new title. It can now be found under "Lessons of the Heart" and I promise Chapter Two (or "Lesson the Second") will be out soon. It's getting polished.
