I can't believe I'm about to write this, but I owe Spike. Big time. The blonde pain in the ass saved me so much of a headache. I may even restrain from staking him for a while longer.

You know that roommate who drove me crazy, Kathy? The one who played Celine Dion constantly and was too fucking perky for her own good? Well, she was a demon. I was living with a demon and I didn't even know it! That sure says a lot for my Slayer skills...

Anyway, I've been so busy helping Willow cope with Oz's leaving that I'd been out of the room a lot. I guess Kathy decided that was my way of saying "Hey, do whatever you want" or something.

She touched my bed. I mean, it's my bed, you know? But that's not the point. We shared the room, so she damn well should have left my stuff alone. But nooo...she decided it was okay to make my side of the room look exactly like hers.

Anyway, when Willow suggested I go to this party last night, I was surprised. But anything to get me away from Kathy was a good thing. So I went, and that cute TA from psych class tried to hit on me. I think he would have tried again if Xander hadn't pulled me outside, letting me know Spike was back.

So we headed towards the dorm, and I heard this high pitched scream. From my room, no less. So we rush in there and there's Spike, fangs sunk into Kathy's neck. I was going to stop him, but Tapparich showed up. Spike recognized him, I guess, and handed Kathy over.

Apparently she's been sucking bits of my soul out since school started. A few more nights and I'd have become as soulless as...well, as soulless as Spike. It's a big no-no apparently, and is she ever in trouble. I'm so glad. I tossed all her stuff out this morning.

As for Spike...well, it turns out he can't hurt humans, since we started fighting the minute Kathy's demon butt was gone. He tried to hurt me and he couldn't. Then he went on about scientists and commandos...yeah, right. Though whatever it is that's got him blocked, I'm glad.

Well, off to go see if I can find Riley. Maybe apologize for bolting from the party last night. Then it's off to help Willow pack up her stuff to move over here. Finally! A roommate who won't eat my stuff and label everything...
