Spring doesn’t mean much in the bad part of Los Angeles. Except that more people go out at night since El Nino and La Nina have passed, and there’s more vampires.

Gunn hated vampires, and soon he hated spring because of the influx of vampires.

And now, as Gunn spent another night at the Wolfram & Hart offices, as he stared out a window that actually showed spring was here, he wondered if this spring would bring another increase in the vampires he should still be going after, on the streets. He wondered if it would be another deadly spring.
