AUTHOR'S NOTES: For Calia at Allforfanfic, who wanted the Willow line about Xander being born in the library and a story out of it. I know it's kind of a drabble, but it just popped out.

I think it finally got figured out why Xander's such a magnet for all things demonic.

We were sitting around one day, talking about where we were born. Xander wasn't there; he was home recuperating from the latest demon attack, and so it was just Willow, Oz and I.

I didn't know Cordelia and Willow were born ten hours apart in the same hospital, so they shared the same birthday. I didn't know Oz was born on December 3rd, so his birthday was 12/3. You know, weird stuff like that.

And then Willow piped in. "Oh my god! I forgot Xander's mom had him in the high school library!" Willow said in a shriek.

That deserved a double glance. "No way. Seriously?"

Willow nodded. "One day, Xander had to ask his mom for a copy of his birth certificate. When we were walking home, he showed me and Jesse that there wasn't a hospital listed; it just said SHS. And then he said his mom had had the him in the library during one of her classes. Back when he was born, pregnant women didn't usually go to school, but since this is Sunnydale..."

I had to laugh a little. "Well, it explains the mummy and the praying mantis," I said, taking another bite out of my sandwich, "but it doesn't really explain Cordelia."
